💭 Angela's Pro Tips & Notes
- It is important to let your cream cheese soften before making your dressing, or it will be thick and chunky. Mashing the cream cheese before incorporating it with the other ingredients makes it much easier to mix.
- If you are serving this grape salad to little ones, or you just prefer to, you can slice the grapes in half before tossing them in the cream cheese dressing.
- Crushed graham crackers can be used in place of nuts to give this salad a tasty crunch. Make sure you wait to add the graham cracker crumbs until you are ready to serve, or they will become soggy.
- Crumbled candy bars like Heath bars, Kit-Kats, or any other crunchy candy bar can also be used as a topping to make this salad an even sweeter treat!
- Feel free to mix in other fruits you enjoy. Strawberries, blueberries, or even different seedless grape varieties such as 'cotton candy grapes' can be used.
🥡 Storing
Keep your creamy grape salad refrigerated in an airtight container or the bowl covered tightly with plastic wrap and enjoy it within 5-7 days.

❓ Recipe FAQs
If you need to swap out the cream cheese, you can try using Mascarpone cheese in its place. It is lighter and sweeter, which pairs wonderfully with the natural sweetness of the grapes. Greek yogurt can be used in place of sour cream, though I recommend using thick full-fat Greek yogurt for the best results. If you need a dairy-free substitute, you can try vegan cream cheese or sour cream. Silken tofu that has been blended in a blender can be used in place of sour cream as well!
Grape salad is a sweet side dish that is chilled, so it's a nice contrast to warm and savory meals. For a simple meal, serve it with a sandwich or green leafy salad. It's sweet enough to be enjoyed as dessert, too!
This salad does not freeze well because of the large amount of dairy in the recipe. The dressing tends to separate when thawed out, and the consistency won't be ideal.
