🔪 How To Make A Steak Burrito Bowl
Cooking the steak (and making the rice if you haven't already) are the only real steps that you need to do before just piling everything into a bowl! Go ahead and grab a skillet, a mixing bowl, and some tongs.
This recipe is for 4 servings, but they are pretty filling!
- Season the meat. Drizzle one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over 1 pound of strips of skirt steak and generously season with 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning (or fajita seasoning). Toss until all of the meat is well coated.
- Cook the steak. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. When hot, add the steak to the skillet and cook, stirring as needed, until browned and cooked to your liking.
- Prepare the bowls. Divide 4 cups of cilantro lime rice into 4 bowls and then top each bowl with divided portions of 3 cups of corn, 3 cups of black beans, ½ cup of mango salsa, 1 cup of Mexican cheese, 1 diced avocado, and ¼ cup of sour cream.
- Serve. Garnish with ¼ cup of chopped cilantro and serve immediately.
Steak burrito bowls are an all-in-one meal that doesn't need any sides! Anything you'd like to add can just go right into the bowl as well! Enjoy!
