🥘 Fresh Mango Salsa Ingredients
This recipe is all about using fresh ingredients! Make sure you pick up high-quality, fresh fruits and veggies for the best results!
- Mango - 3½-4 cups of diced fresh mango. For reference, one large mango yields about 1¼ cups when diced.
- Bell Pepper - 1 medium-sized red bell pepper, finely diced. On the other hand, you can swap this out for some diced tomatoes.
- Onion - ½ cup of finely diced red or white onion.
- Cilantro - ¼ cup of packed fresh cilantro that has been chopped.
- Jalapeno - 1 medium jalapeno. Remove the seeds and then mince the jalapeno.
- Lime Juice - ¼ cup of lime juice. For the best results, I recommend using the juice from a fresh lime as opposed to the bottled version (you'll need 2 large limes).
- Salt - ⅛ teaspoon of salt, to taste.

❓ Recipe FAQs
Believe it or not, this vibrant salsa is actually incredibly versatile and can be paired with many different things! Add it to your favorite salad, some burritos, tacos, chicken, or shrimp!
Yes! Mango salsa can be frozen. Simply put your salsa into a Ziplock bag and press out any excess air. Then, pop it into the freezer! It can be frozen for up to 3 months. When ready, just transfer it to the fridge to defrost overnight before serving.
I don't really recommend it. This salsa tastes best right after it is prepared! While it can be enjoyed for a few days when stored in the fridge, the fruit begins to become softer. If you need it further in advance, you can always prepare the salsa and freeze it.
