🔪 How To Make Sausage Cream Cheese Biscuit Bites
These sausage cream cheese biscuit bites are practically fool-proof! To get started, you'll need your measuring utensils, a mixing bowl, a silicone spatula, a knife or pizza cutter, and a mini muffin pan.
This makes about 8 servings with 4 biscuit bites per person.
- Preheat. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5) and spray a mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Make the filling. Add 8 ounces (226.8 grams) of ground sausage, 4 ounces (113.4 grams) of cream cheese, ½ cup (56.5 grams) of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and the optional ½ tablespoon (7.39 milliliters) of Worcestershire sauce to a medium-sized mixing bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Cut the biscuit dough. Remove each round of biscuit dough from the 16-ounce (453.59 grams) can of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut each biscuit in half, then in half again so that you are left with 4 small triangles of dough.16 oz Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
- Shape the dough. Place 1 triangle of dough into each hole in the muffin pan. Use a spoon to spread the dough into the shape of the muffin mold with a divot in the center for your filling.
- Add the filling. Divide the sausage cream cheese filling evenly between each of the dough cups.
- Bake. Bake on the center rack at 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5) until golden brown, about 12-14 minutes. *If you are using raw sausage, check that the internal temperature reaches160°F (71°C).
- Serve. Remove your biscuit bites from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

💭 Angela's Tips & Recipe Notes
- These biscuit bites can be made with cooked or raw sausage. If you decide to use raw sausage, make sure that the filling is fully cooked with an internal temperature that reads at least 160°F (71°C).
- My preferred brands of sausage are Jimmy Dean and Johnsonville, though you can use whatever type you like! Even hot ground sausage would be delicious!
- You can use low-fat cream cheese and/or reduced-fat Grands biscuits to make a slightly healthier version of these biscuit bites.
- Try customizing your filling by adding different cheeses, bacon, or your favorite diced veggies!
🥡 Storing & Reheating
Keep your cooked biscuit bites stored in a single layer in a shallow airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-5 days.
Freezing Biscuit Bites

Reheat your sausage cream cheese biscuit bites in the microwave or air fryer. If reheating from frozen, microwave them for 1-2 minutes or until hot.

❓ FAQ
Sure! You can assemble your biscuit bites up to 24 hours in advance and keep the whole pan in the fridge. When ready, just pop them in the oven and bake as directed!
Any ground sausage will work! You could even try ground turkey or ground beef. For a vegetarian version, swap the sausage for plant-based Beyond Meat 'ground beef' or try vegan sausage crumbles!
If you prefer to make your biscuits from scratch, that's perfectly fine. Just use a small amount of dough in each muffin mold, just enough to form a 'cup.' My Bisquick biscuits would be great!
