They're a fuss-free finger food perfect for snacking and can easily feed a crowd for any party or special occasion. You can also have them on the table in under 20 minutes!

🥘 Ingredients

You will only need a few inexpensive ingredients to make these biscuit bites. You can use cooked or uncooked sausage for this recipe, but be sure any raw sausage is cooked all the way through!

🔪 How To Make Sausage Cream Cheese Biscuit Bites

These sausage cream cheese biscuit bites are practically fool-proof. You'll need your measuring utensils, a mixing bowl, a silicone spatula, a knife or pizza cutter, and a mini muffin pan to get started.

This makes about 8 servings with 4 biscuit bites per person.

  1. Preheat. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5) and spray a mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Make the filling. Add 8 ounces (226.8 grams) of ground sausage, 4 ounces (113.4 grams) of cream cheese, ½ cup (56.5 grams) of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and the optional ½ tablespoon (7.39 milliliters) of Worcestershire sauce to a medium-sized mixing bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.
  3. Cut the biscuit dough. Remove each round of biscuit dough from the 16-ounce (453.59 grams) can of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut each biscuit in half, then in half again so you are left with 4 small triangles of dough.
  4. Shape the dough. Place 1 triangle of dough into each hole in the muffin pan. Use a spoon to spread the dough into the shape of the muffin mold with a divot in the center for your filling.
  5. Add the filling. Divide the sausage cream cheese filling evenly between each of the dough cups.
  6. Bake. Bake on the center rack at 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5) until golden brown, about 12-14 minutes. *If you are using raw sausage, check that the internal temperature reaches160°F (71°C).
  7. Serve. Remove your biscuit bites from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

🍽️ What To Serve With

💭 Angela's Pro Tips & Recipe Notes

  • Sausage Selection: Choose between cooked or raw sausage for the filling. If using raw, ensure it's thoroughly cooked to an internal temperature of at least 160°F (71°C) for safety.
  • Sausage Brands: Favorites include Jimmy Dean and Johnsonville, but any preferred type works well. Consider trying hot ground sausage for an extra flavor boost.
  • Healthier Options: Opt for low-fat cream cheese and reduced-fat Grands biscuits to lighten up the recipe without sacrificing taste.
  • Filling Variations: Customize the filling by adding a variety of cheeses, bacon, or your favorite diced vegetables to tailor the biscuit bites to your taste preferences.

🥡 Storing & Reheating

Keep your cooked biscuit bites stored in a single layer in a shallow, airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days.

Place your leftovers on a baking sheet and flash-freeze them for 1 hour. Then, transfer them to a heavy-duty freezer bag and freeze them for up to 3 months.

Transfer your biscuit bites to the fridge to thaw overnight before reheating.

Reheating

Reheat in the microwave or air fryer. If reheating from frozen, microwave them for 1-2 minutes or until hot.
