I prefer to use my air fryer to make pizza rolls, so they come out super crispy, piping hot, and they aren’t at all greasy. Deep frying requires far too much oil, plus it can be a messy affair.

The toaster oven is OK for pizza rolls, but there is something extra special about the tempting crunch when I deep fry them. Baking works too, but the air fryer is faster. And microwaving leads to soggy results, even though they can be heated up in a snap.

    🥘 Ingredients

To make these air fryer pizza rolls, the name says it all! All you'll need is a bag of pizza rolls and your air fryer!

    • Frozen Pizza Rolls - Grab a bag at the grocery store, which should be a 50-count bag (24.8 ounces). This is good for about 8 servings. Get more pizza rolls for a hungry crowd, as these go fast!
Use your favorite flavor - pepperoni, cheese, triple meat, triple cheese, supreme, cheeseburger, ham & cheese, sausage, pepperoni & bacon, triple pepperoni. They all cook up wonderfully! Plus, Totino's also offers a few newer items like cheddar blasted and Takis Fuego mini-rolls for a nice change from your 'norm'!

    🔪 Step-By-Step Instructions

Making pizza rolls in the air fryer is super easy! If you are already a fan of using your air fryer, then you know how simple it is to use for all sorts of recipes.

3 step by step process photos of air frying the frozen pizza rolls.
    1. Preheat your air fryer to 380ºF (193ºC). Starting off with a preheated air fryer leads to the best results.
    2. Place the frozen pizza rolls into the air fryer’s basket or onto the trays. If you cannot fit all the pizza rolls in a single layer, give them a good shake before they are done cooking, so all sides get cooked evenly and nothing sticks together.
    3. Air fry the pizza rolls at 380ºF (193ºC) for 5 minutes, then shake or flip them over and air fry for another 2 - 3 minutes. If you like your pizza rolls extra crispy, air fry them for a total of 10 minutes. Any longer than that will probably result in burnt pizza rolls, and no one wants that! So pay attention if you do cook your rolls for a few extra minutes.

Serve piping hot. Sometimes I like mine with extra pizza sauce mixed with grated Parmesan cheese for dipping.

I definitely love dipping them into my homemade ranch dressing or my quick marinara sauce! Enjoy your pizza rolls!

    💭 Angela's Tips & Recipe Notes

    • Preheat your air fryer for crispier pizza rolls!
    • Remember when you use your air fryer to never spray aerosolized cooking spray directly on the appliance. This recipe does not call for additional oil anyhow. However, for recipes that do require oil use a pastry brush or paper towel to apply the oil as directed.
    • Also, my air fryer make and model is probably not the same as the one you have at home (currently I use a COSORI Air Fryer). Use my directions as a general guide but keep an eye on your pizza rolls as they are air frying.
    • Be sure to place the pizza rolls in an even layer with no overlap.

    🥡 Storing & Reheating

Store any leftover air fryer pizza rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Reheat the leftovers in your air fryer at 350ºF (175ºC) until hot for best results.
