🔪 How To Make Bacon Aioli
Making aioli is literally just blending the ingredients together (so it is super easy!) You will need your food processor (or blender), your measuring utensils, a silicone spatula, and a Mason jar to store it in.
This recipe will make slightly more than 1 cup of aioli.
- Add. In the bowl of your food processor, add 1 cup (224 grams) of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon (8 grams) of garlic, 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) of lemon juice, and ¼ teaspoon each of salt (1.5 grams), pepper (1.5 grams), and smoked paprika (0.5 grams).
- Blend. Pulse using 30-second increments until the ingredients are thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Stir. Stir in ¼ cup of cooked bacon and add more salt and pepper, if needed.
- Serve. Top your aioli with more bacon crumbles and serve immediately or store in the fridge for later.

❓ FAQ
Sure! A blender would be another fantastic option to ensure a smooth consistency. However, you could also whisk everything together by hand, but it won't be nearly as smooth.
No, I don't recommend freezing your aioli. Since mayonnaise is an emulsion, it tends to separate when thawed, and you will lose the creamy texture.
Sure! Traditional aioli is actually a combination of garlic and olive oil and doesn't use mayonnaise at all. While this is an easy substitution, it will alter the flavor and consistency of your aioli.
