Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Meanwhile, microwave the chicken broth for 2 minutes (or bring it to a light boil on the stovetop).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Stove Top stuffing mix with the hot chicken broth, butter, and milk and stir to combine. If using any optional ingredients (cranberries, celery, onion) mix them in now.
Trim any excess fat from your pork chops and butterfly them by cutting ¾ of the way through the thickest part of the pork chops. Be careful not to cut all the way through. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and onion powder on both sides.
Fill each pork chop with ½ a cup of the stuffing mixture, then transfer them to the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 12-15 minutes or until they have an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Rest for 5 minutes before serving. Top with gravy, if desired.
Notes
I used pork chops that were between 5-6 ounces each.
If desired, you can pan-sear the pork chops in a skillet over medium heat with a tablespoon of olive oil (before stuffing them) if you prefer a golden-brown exterior.
If your family prefers the vegetables in stuffing to be extra soft, you could saute the onion and celery before combining it with the stuffing mix.
You may need to cook in batches if you cannot easily fit the stuffed pork chops into your air fryer basket. There should be enough room for air to circulate around the food as it cooks.
Refrigerate left over air fried pork chops in a shallow airtight container for 3-4 days.
Reheat pork chops by placing them in a baking dish or pan with a splash of broth. Cover them with foil and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10-15 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 145ºF (63°C).
