Easy Chili Cheese Dog Casserole
Easy, simple, and tasty casseroles are definitely one of my favorite things to make, especially when I've had a long, busy day. This chili dog casserole easily fits the bill, as it is ready to eat in only 30 minutes!
Of course, kids (and adults) love it since it combines hot dogs, crescent rolls, cheese, and chili! I love that it is all made in one dish so that I don't have to clean a lot of dishes!

🥘 Chili Dog Casserole Ingredients
As previously mentioned, this simple casserole only needs 4 ingredients! It's super budget-friendly and easy to prepare!
- Crescent Rolls - One 8-ounce refrigerated canister of crescent roll dough.
- Hot Dogs - An 8-pack of hotdogs. I used all-beef hotdogs, but you can use your preferred kind!
- Chili - 30 ounces of your favorite kind of chili. It can be canned, homemade, or leftover!
- Cheddar Cheese - 3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.

🔪 How To Make Chili Dog Casserole
This chili dog casserole is so ridiculously simple that it can be made on even a busy weeknight! All you need is a 9x13 baking dish, your measuring cups, and a cheese grater!
This recipe will make enough casserole for 8 servings.
- Preheat. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5) and lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Roll. Lay out your 8 ounces of crescent rolls and place one of the 8 hot dogs on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the crescent rolls towards the narrow end and then place them into your baking dish.
- Bake. Bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5) for 15 minutes.
- Add. Remove from the oven and pour 30 ounces of chili around the hotdogs. Sprinkle 3 cups of cheddar cheese over the entire dish.
- Bake again. Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until hot and the crescent rolls are golden.
- Serve. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
