Instructions
On The Stovetop
Drain and rinse your canned potatoes then pat them dry with a paper towel and cut each potato in half.
Add the olive oil and your butter to a cast iron skillet and place it over medium heat to melt it.
Once melted, add the potatoes and seasonings (dill weed, garlic powder, dried parsley, onion powder, and pepper). Stir until the potatoes are well coated.
Cook for 9-12 minutes, or until the potatoes become tender. Make sure to stir occasionally. *You can add a little more butter if you find the potatoes are becoming too dry.
Remove the potatoes from the heat, sprinkle with some Parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.
In The Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with some aluminum foil.
Drain and rinse your potatoes, pat them dry with some paper towels, and then cut them in half. Place your butter into a small bowl and melt it using the microwave.
Transfer the potatoes to a large bowl and drizzle the melted butter and olive oil over top. Sprinkle in the seasonings (dill, garlic powder, parsley, onion powder, and pepper) and gently stir until well-coated.
Evenly spread the coated potatoes over the prepared baking sheet and bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-40 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through the baking time.
Remove the potatoes from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, then serve immediately.
In The Air Fryer
Drain and rinse the potatoes, pat them dry, and cut them into quarters.
Place the potatoes into a bowl and coat them with melted butter and olive oil. Sprinkle the seasonings over top and gently stir until they are well-coated.
Dump the coated potatoes into the air fryer basket and cook at 370°F (185°C) for 10-12 minutes, stopping to shake the basket every couple of minutes.
Remove the potatoes from the air fryer, sprinkle with Parmesan, and serve immediately.
Notes
You'll want to rinse your potatoes really well before using them. This will help to remove any excess sodium that they were canned with so they won't be too salty.
Feel free to try out the seasonings that I used or swap them out for your own preferred blend!
Canned potatoes are relatively bland by themself. So make sure you add some seasonings!
