Pasta Salad For Lunch Or Dinner

This quick and easy Greek pasta salad is the perfect last-minute side dish! It only takes 15 minutes to throw together, and it's packed with healthy and flavorful ingredients!

Whether you're heading to a BBQ, potluck, or family gathering, this guilt-free pasta salad recipe will surely be a crowd-pleaser. Give it a try next time you need a summer side dish in a snap!

🥘 Ingredients

Cook your pasta just until al dente. Since it is a cool dish, rinsing the pasta under cold water helps keep it from cooking further and keeps it from sticking together!

  • Farfalle Pasta – 12 ounces cooked per package instructions, then drained and rinsed with cool water.
  • Artichoke Hearts – 14 ounces of quartered artichoke hearts, not the marinated variety.
  • Cherry Tomatoes – 1 ½ cups of sliced or quartered cherry tomatoes.
  • Kalamata Olives – ½ a cup of sliced or quartered kalamata olives.
  • Feta Cheese – 4 ounces of crumbled feta.
  • Red Onion – ¼ cup of peeled and thinly sliced red onions.
  • Greek Salad Dressing – 12 ounces of your favorite brand of Greek salad dressing.
  • Salt & Pepper – To taste.

*Be sure to see the recipe card below for ingredients, amounts & instructions!*

🔪 How To Make Greek Pasta Salad

Toss your al dente pasta in a mixing bowl with the other ingredients, and you're ready! Grab a sharp knife and cutting board, your measuring utensils, a mixing bowl, and a silicone spatula to get started.

This recipe makes 8 side dish portions of Greek pasta salad or 4 large entree portions!

Step 1: Combine ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. (12 ounces (340.2 grams) of farfalle pasta, 14 ounces (396.89 grams) of quartered artichoke hearts, 1 ½ cups (223.5 grams) of cherry tomatoes, ½ a cup (67.5 grams) of kalamata olives, ¼ cup (40 grams) of red onion, 12 ounces (340.19 milliliters) of Greek salad dressing, salt & pepper to taste, and 4 ounces (113.4 grams) of feta cheese).

Step 2: Mix. Use a silicone spatula or large spoon to mix all the ingredients until thoroughly combined.

Step 3: Serve. Serve immediately. Garnish with extra crumbled feta and fresh ground black pepper if desired.

🍽️ What To Serve With Greek Salad

Greek pasta salad is a versatile side dish you can serve with just about anything. Pair this salad with a meaty main course like slow cooker pork loin or baked chicken tenderloins for a well-rounded meal. Enjoy!

💭 Angela's Pro Tips & Recipe Notes

  • The nutritional values will change depending on your choice of dressing, so all nutritional information is approximate.
  • Al dente pasta works best for most pasta salads! The tender noodles can take in some of the dressing, making them more flavorful. Feel free to choose your favorite pasta shape. Fusilli, penne, and bowtie pasta work well!
  • Grilled chicken, shrimp, or even chickpeas are excellent protein additions to this salad.
  • Greek pasta salad can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Wait until ready to serve to add the dressing.
