If you're a fan of Bailey's Irish cream, you should try baking with it! My Bailey's Irish Cream chocolate chip cookies and Irish soda bread pudding with Bailey's are totally divine!

🍹 Ingredients

Grab some Godiva chocolate liqueur on the way home and mix it up with a couple of my personal favorites - vodka and Bailey's Irish cream. I love to grate a bar of dark chocolate over the finished drink as a beautiful and delicious garnish.

  • Godiva Chocolate Liqueur - 2 ounces of Godiva chocolate liqueur.
  • Vodka - 1 ounce of good quality vodka like Grey Goose.
  • Bailey's Irish Cream - 1 ounce of Bailey's Irish Cream.
  • Milk - ½ ounce of milk (whole milk is preferred, but half and half will work as well).
  • Cocoa Powder (optional) - Optional garnishes could include a sprinkle of cocoa powder, dark chocolate shavings, or even a whipped cream dollop.

Be sure to see the free printable recipe card below for ingredients, exact amounts & instructions with tips!

This velvety smooth chocolate martini is the perfect after-dinner drink to finish off an elegant meal. Dishes such as veal scallopini, grilled prime rib, or smoked duck and mushroom risotto would make for a fabulous main course.

🥂 Cocktail Tips & Variations

  • Use ice cubes that are 1 inch in size for best chilling during shaking.
  • Shake for at least 20 seconds to aerate and chill your chocolate martini properly.
  • Quality alcohol matters. We love vodka from Absolut, Grey Goose, Hangar 1, Svedka, Ketel One, Ciroc, Belvedere, and Beluga, among our top vodka brands.
  • Be careful how fast you drink. The alcohol in this martini can sneak up on you. It is a dessert drink and will taste so good, but don't forget there is a good amount of alcohol in it.
