🥘 Ingredients For Air Fryer Pork Chops
Quality pork chops are important because there are just 3 ingredients. If you have a favorite pork seasoning feel free to use it, but my recipe is incredibly simple!
- Thick-Cut Pork Chops - 1 pound of chops, roughly 2 chops at least 1.5" thick.
- Olive Oil - ½ a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
- Pork Seasoning ½ a tablespoon. (See recipe or use your own.)

🔪 How To Air Fry Thick Cut Pork Chops
Your air fryer will do all the heavy lifting here. All you need is your trusty air fryer and some tongs for flipping!
- Prep. First, coat 1 pound (2 chops) with ½ a tablespoon of olive oil. Then, season them all over with ½ a tablespoon of pork seasoning.
- Air fry. Place your seasoned pork chops into the air fryer basket and 390°F (199°C) for 15 minutes.
- Flip. Once the 15 minutes are up, open your air fryer basket and flip the chops. Continue to cook them for 10 minutes or until the chops reach your desired internal temperature. 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare (*see note).
- Rest and serve. Once the pork chops have reached your desired level of doneness, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve your air fryer thick cut pork chops with any of your favorite sides. I opted for oven roasted potatoes and air fryer asparagus this time (but I love serving these with fried potatoes and onions too), and it was delicious! Enjoy!
💠Tips & Notes
- Pork chops should be a minimum of 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare doneness, up to 160°F (71°C) for well done, depending on your preference.
- Preheating your air fryer to the cooking temp before adding your chops is not essential (I did not do it when I made this recipe), but it always helps develop the crusty sear on the outside even more!
- Storing: Place your leftover chops in a sealed container and refrigerate for up to 2-3 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
- Reheating: The easiest way to reheat air fried pork chops is to set the air fryer low to 200°F (93°C) and cook for 8-10 minutes until heated through.

Mes côtelettes étaient plus petites , j’ai donc diminué le temps de 10 minutes et à 5 minutes après les avoir retourner. (My chops were smaller, so I decreased the time by 10 minutes and to 5 minutes after turning them.)

Il faut adapter le temps de cuisson selon nos appareils, car le mien semblait cuire plus que la recette, mais le mélange d'épices est excellent et goûteux. J'avais l'impression de manger des côtes levées côté saveur.
"You have to adapt the cooking time according to our appliances, because mine seemed to cook more than the recipe, but the spice mix is excellent and tasty. I felt like I was eating ribs on the flavor side."
Carol says
I cooked these in the air fryer for 7 minutes and they were overdone. What went wrong?
Angela @ BakeItWithLove.com says
I think there must be a typo, as even standard pork chops would take longer than 7 minutes. As always, judge the doneness by checking the internal temperature.
Bonnie says
