🔪 How To Make Pumpkin Fluff Dip
Nothing is easier than this recipe! In fact, you don't even need to cook! Just make sure you have a mixing bowl and a silicon spatula, and you are good to go!
This recipe will make a big bowl of pumpkin fluff dip, which is about 40 servings.
Step 1: Add ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, add in your 15 ounces (425 grams) of pumpkin, 1 package of instant pudding mix (142 grams), 1 teaspoon (2 grams) of pumpkin pie spice, and the optional 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) of vanilla extract, if using.
Step 2: Mix well. Use a silicone spatula to mix until well combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl to ensure all of the ingredients are incorporated.
Step 3: Fold. Next, gently fold in the 16 ounces (454 grams) of Cool Whip.
Step 4: Serve. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy or serve immediately.
For an extra festive twist, serve your pumpkin dip in a hollowed-out pumpkin! Top it with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar and some whipped cream! Enjoy!
💭 Tips & Notes
- Libby's brand pumpkin is my favorite to use for recipes because it has low moisture content so that your dip won't be runny!
- For some extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract!
- Make sure to let your whipped topping completely thaw out before using it!
- Serve your pumpkin fluff dip with a dollop of whipped cream or chantilly cream and a sprinkle of some cinnamon sugar!
- The possibilities are endless for yummy things to dip into this pumpkin fluff! Try it with some graham crackers, ginger snaps, Nilla wafers, shortbread, apples, or chocolate!
🥡 Storing
Keep your pumpkin fluff dip covered and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days (if it lasts that long)! The surface can form a film if stored for more than the afternoon, so I like to lay cling film directly over the dip when storing.

❓ Recipe FAQs
You can serve anything you like with this tasty dip! Graham crackers and gingersnaps are my personal favorites. Some other great options include fruit, Teddy Grahams, Nilla Wafers, cookies, shortbread, animal crackers, or chocolate!
Sure! You can swap out the canned pumpkin for the same amount of homemade puree. However, it is important to note that it is harder to control the moisture content in homemade puree and you may have inconsistent results. Therefore, I recommend using the canned version.
Yep! It is super easy to make a sugar-free version, and it is still super tasty! Simply swap out your ingredients for their sugar-free alternatives.

Hello! The directions call for 5 oz of vanilla pudding, but the picture is the small 3.4 oz. Which would you recommend? Thanks!!

It was just for the picture, I used another partial box to round it out since I didn't have the larger boxes (which range up to 5.1 ounces). Thanks for asking!
