🥘 Mini Mummy Pizzas Ingredients

You will only need 4 ingredients that are all easy to find at the grocery store! If you are not an olive fan, you can substitute pepperoni to make the faces.

  • English Muffins - 3 English muffins.
  • Pizza Sauce  - 6 tablespoons of pizza sauce (see recipe or use your favorite brand).
  • Mozzarella String Cheese - 4 sticks of mozzarella string cheese.
  • Black Olives- black olives (sliced, enough to make your mummy faces).

You can add your favorite pizza meat toppings like pepperoni, ground beef, crumbled sausage, salami, or Canadian bacon under the 'bandage wrap' strips of mozzarella cheese.

*Be sure to see the free printable recipe card below for ingredients, exact amounts & instructions with tips!*

🔪 How To Make Mini Mummy Pizzas

Mummy mini pizzas are incredibly simple to make and will be ready in only 17 minutes! Grab your baking sheet, chef's knife, and spatula to get started!

This mini pizza recipe makes 3 servings using 3 English muffins, but it's also really easy to increase and feed a crowd. If you make a few batches, you can bring them to your next Halloween party or potluck!

  1. Preheat. Preheat your oven to 425°F (215°C).
  2. Cut muffins. Cut each of the 3 English muffins in half and lay them on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Spread sauce on muffin. Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce on each muffin half.
  4. Prep cheese sticks. Pull apart the 4 sticks of mozzarella string cheese into strips and lay them across the top of the sauce English muffins. Overlap the strips of cheese or place them in a criss-cross pattern to make it look like mummy wrapping.
  5. Cut olives. Slice olives as needed to achieve the desired facial features for your mummies. Place the olives on top of the strips of string cheese to make the eyes/nose/and mouth.
  6. Cook your mummy pizzas!
To Bake: Cook for 12 minutes at 425°F (215°C) (*see note), then remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
To Air Fry: Cook at 400°F (205°C) for 5-6 minutes. Be sure to leave space between your pizzas and use a spatula to remove the air-fried pizzas from your air fryer basket. Allow cooling slightly before serving.

These mini pizzas are the perfect starter dish to just about anything! For a more well-rounded dinner, try pairing the pizzas with baked chicken wings and a caesar salad!

💭 Angela's Tips & Recipe Notes

  • For extra crispy crust and bubbly melted cheese, bake for 12 minutes. If you prefer to keep the cheese white, bake for less time (7-10 minutes).
  • If you or someone in your family is not a fan of olives, you may cut regular-sized pepperoni or use mini pepperonis to make the faces.
  • To store: If you have leftovers, store them sauce-side-up in a sealed airtight container for up to 1 week.
  • To reheat: Reheat in the oven at 325°F (163°C) until hot and the cheese is melted.
