Chocolate-covered raisins have always been one of my go-to movie theater snacks. Of course, I've always wanted to make my own, but the thought of individually coating raisins in chocolate has turned me away.
Making them into sweet clusters instead of individual raisins is a complete game-changer! They only took a few minutes to prepare this way, and my family ate them all the same evening!
🥘 Ingredients
- Raisins - Classic raisins, sultanas, or craisins can all be used.
- Chocolate Chips - I recommend using milk chocolate chips for the perfect balance of sweetness, but dark, white, or semi-sweet would also work. Feel free to swap chocolate chips for melting wafers.

🔪 How To Make Chocolate Raisin Clusters
Nothing is easier to prepare than no-bake snacks. You will need parchment paper, measuring cups, a microwave-safe bowl, and a baking sheet.
Depending on how large you make your clusters, you'll have about twenty candies.
Step 1: Prepare. Line a baking sheet with a Silpat mat or parchment paper.

Step 2: Melt the chocolate. Add 2 cups (473 grams) of milk chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave them for 30 seconds. Remove them from the microwave and stir. Continue heating the chocolate chips in 15-second increments, stirring until melted and smooth after each session.
Step 3: Coat the raisins. Once your chocolate is melted, pour 2 cups (290 grams) of raisins into the bowl and stir until they are well-coated.
Portion, Set & Serve
Step 4: Portion. Place the mixture in teaspoon-sized mounds onto the prepared baking sheets.
Step 5: Set. Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to be fully set.

- Add other ingredients. You can adjust this recipe by adding other tasty mix-ins, like nuts, marshmallows, or granola.
