Instructions
In the bowl of your food processor, add your salsa and room-temperature cream cheese.
Pulse until the ingredients are well blended.
Either serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Notes
Using store-bought salsa makes this recipe exceptionally easy. However, you can prepare it with homemade salsa as well!
If you are using a salsa that has a higher amount of liquid, you can strain it before combining it with the cream cheese to prevent your dip from being runny.
If you don't have a food processor, you can also combine the salsa and cream cheese using either a blender or a hand mixer.
Adjust the spice of your dip by using hot, medium, or mild salsa.
For some fun twists, you can mix in some shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, black olives, or any of your favorite toppings!
To serve warm: Prepare your dip as instructed and place it into a 9-inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheese, if desired, and bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling and hot.
To store: Keep your dip in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to 4 days.
