Try my avocado ranch sauce, sweet and sour sauce, olive dip, and spicy ranchero sauce for more homemade condiments.

It's tasty on everything from chicken to shrimp to french fries. Move on over ketchup; this is bound to be your new favorite condiment!

  • Sour Cream - Use full-fat sour cream for the best flavor.

  • Cajun Seasoning - Try my homemade Cajun seasoning blend, or use your favorite kind.
  • Lemon Juice - You can use fresh or store-bought lemon juice.

💭 Angela's Pro Tips & Recipe Notes

  • Servings. This recipe makes just over 2 cups, or 32 tablespoons, of sauce.
  • Chill the dip. Chilling your sauce for at least 2 hours gives the flavors time to 'marry.'
  • Storage. Refrigerate Cajun dipping sauce in an airtight jar or container for up to 5  days. Stir before serving.

Is Cajun Dipping Sauce Spicy?

The great thing about this sauce is you can control the heat with your choice of hot sauce. Something like Louisiana, Tapatio, Cholula, or Frank's Red Hot will make your sauce more tangy and zesty than spicy. You can always opt for something with more heat if you prefer!

What Is Cajun Dipping Sauce?

Cajun dipping sauce is smooth and creamy with a slight kick. It is delicious on just about anything you could dip in sauce! It even makes a tasty spread for burgers or sandwiches.

What Should I Serve With Cajun Dipping Sauce?

Whatever you like! Things like fried pickles, french fries, baked chicken wings, or Cajun alligator bites are great options. It also makes a delicious burger topping! Taste the sauce and try it with whatever sounds good to you!
