🔪 How To Make Air Fryer Baby Potatoes

If you love practically hands-off recipes, you'll appreciate how easy it is to make these baby potatoes! You will need an air fryer, a mixing bowl, and silicone kitchen tongs to get started.

One pound of baby potatoes will make around four servings! You can scale up the ingredients if you feed a larger crowd or prepare them for a holiday feast. Work in batches as needed, and don't overcrowd the basket.

    💭 Angela's Tips & Recipe Notes

    • Wash and dry the potatoes before cooking to remove any dirt or debris.
    • You can preheat your air fryer if you'd like to, but it's not necessary for most air fryer recipes.
    • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Leave enough space between the potatoes so that can cook evenly and crisp up on all sides.
    • If you like your potatoes extra crispy, you can cook them for a few additional minutes or preheat your oven for a few minutes before starting.
    • Feel free to use your favorite seasoning blend on the potatoes, such as garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, rosemary, or thyme!

    🥡 Storing & Reheating

Let the potatoes cool to room temperature before storing them. Transfer the potatoes to an airtight container and place them in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.

    Reheating Air Fryer Baby Potatoes

Reheat the potatoes in the air fryer at 380°F (195°C) for 3-5 minutes or until they are heated and crispy again.

Alternatively, you can reheat the potatoes in the microwave by placing them in a microwave-safe dish, covering them with a damp paper towel, and heating them in 30-second increments.

    ❓ FAQ

How Long Does It Take To Cook Baby Potatoes In An Air Fryer?

The cooking time will depend on how large your baby potatoes are. Baby potatoes generally cook between 18-22 minutes at 380°F (195°C).
Flip them at the 10-minute mark and leave enough space between each potato so that they cook evenly on all sides. Your baby potatoes are done when a fork comes out smoothly after you pierce them.

Do I Need To Preheat My Air Fryer To Make Baby Potatoes?

No, preheating your air fryer is unnecessary for most air fryer recipes! It can help make foods extra crispy. So, if you prefer your potatoes with an extra crispy texture, you can preheat the air fryer for a few minutes before you put the potatoes in.

What Other Seasonings Can I Use To Flavor The Baby Potatoes?

One of the best things about a potato side dish is that it's very versatile, and you can season them however you'd like to! Feel free to use garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Cajun seasoning, rosemary, or thyme!
