These air fryer pork steaks are an incredibly easy, last-minute dinner that cooks up in a flash and pairs well with all of your favorite sides. With your handy-dandy air fryer, some perfectly marbled coppa cut pork steaks, and a fabulous pork seasoning, a delicious dinner will be on the table in minutes!
30 minutes before cooking, remove your pork steaks from the fridge so that they can warm to room temperature (it helps them to cook evenly). Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (205°C) for 5 minutes while you season your pork steaks generously with pork seasoning.
1 lb pork steaks, 1 tablespoon pork seasoning
Once your air fryer has preheated, place the seasoned pork steaks in the basket making sure that they don't overlap. Cook for 6 minutes before opening the basket and flipping the steaks.
After flipping, cook the steaks for an additional 6 minutes (*see note) or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Remove the pork steaks from your air fryer and place them onto a plate or cutting board covered loosely with a square of aluminum foil. Set the air fried pork steaks aside to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
You may cook your pork steaks from frozen if needed. In that case, cook the steaks at 400°F (205°C) for about 8 minutes. Then flip them over and continue to cook until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Depending on the model of your air fryer and the thickness of the pork, the cooking time may vary slightly. I used thick-cut boneless pork coppa steaks for this recipe.
