Instructions
Combine 5.3 oz Greek yogurt with 1 tablespoon honey syrup and 1-2 teaspoon lime juice in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Wash and chop 4 cups assorted seasonal fruit as needed. Add to the Greek yogurt dressing and fold in to combine.
Cover with cling film and chill if desired, or serve immediately.
Notes
For the Greek yogurt - mixed berry flavor is my recommendation, strawberry is a close second, and banana, vanilla, or plain can also be used. I use Oikos triple zero brand yogurt.
4+ cups of fresh seasonal fruit - I used 2 medium bananas (sliced), 8 ounces strawberries (sliced), 8 ounces blueberries, 4 ounces raspberries, and 2 cuties mandarin oranges (peeled, and each section cut in half).
The honey syrup makes blending the honey with a cold yogurt easier and prevents the honey from clumping.
If you'd prefer your fruit salad to be dairy-free, feel free to use your favorite dairy-free yogurt alternative. A coconut milk or almond milk yogurt would be delicious!
You can include other ingredients like vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor. Also, chopped nuts or granola can add a nice crunchy texture, if preferred!
To store: Store any leftover fruit salad in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Note that depending on the fruits that you use, some of them may release juice over time and become soggy.
