Instructions
Put 4 ears corn into the air fryer basket, whole or cut in half, with or without the optional light coating of 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Close the air fryer and cook at 380°F (193°C) for 5 minutes, then turn and continue cooking for 5 more minutes. Check the corn for doneness. It should be bright yellow, and the kernels should be plump and tender to the touch. Add a minute or two as needed to reach your desired level of tenderness.
Remove corn from your air fryer with tongs, and put them onto a serving plate. If not serving your corn immediately, cover the cooked ears of corn with aluminum foil.
Serve with 2 tablespoon butter and sprinkle with each, salt & pepper, to taste.
Notes
You can use frozen corn in this air fryer recipe if desired. Either thaw it beforehand for at least 30 minutes or you can add a few more minutes to the cooking time. Fresh corn will give you the best results.
Depending on the size of the corn you buy, you may need to cut them in half so that each one has enough room for air to circulate in the air fryer.
Although olive oil is optional, I highly recommend drizzling it on the corn with a spoon as it will allow the corn to crisp up and caramelize beautifully!
Make sure to not overcrowd your air fryer basket or stack the corn. This ensures that your ears of corn cook evenly through at the same time.
To store: Once your corn has completely cooled off, wrap it tightly with plastic wrap or a layer of aluminum foil. Store in your refrigerator and enjoy within 3 days.
To freeze: Allow the corn to cool fully and wrap in plastic cling film.Transfer into an airtight freezer storage container or plastic freezer storage bag. Squeeze as much air as possible out if using a freezer bag then store for up to 6 months.
To reheat: Reheat any leftover corn in your air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 3-4 minutes or until heated through to your liking.
