Sour cream chip dip is an incredibly easy and delicious appetizer to bring to your next tailgate, potluck, or family get-together! This homemade dip combines a full 16-ounce container of sour cream with simple herbs and spices (no dill). Serve it with your favorite chips or sliced veggies and you've got yourself a crowd-pleasing appetizer dip!

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl (sour cream, dried minced onion, freeze-dried chives, parsley, and garlic powder).
Mix until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Cover the bowl with cling wrap and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours. Serve with chips or veggie sticks.
Notes
16 ounces of sour cream is equal to 2 cups.
You may also make this recipe by using 1 cup of sour cream and 1 cup of mayonnaise.
You are able to leave the dip out at room temperature for a maximum of 2 hours. Be sure to keep it refrigerated until you are ready to serve for the best flavor and texture.
To store: Store sour cream dip in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5-7 days.
