Instructions
Measure out all of the ingredients.
Add all of the ingredients to a small bowl and mix until evenly distributed
Dry rub the seasoning into your roast or store it in a cool, dry place for later use.
Notes
This recipe will yield 1 ½ tablespoons of pork roast seasoning, which will easily season 2-3 pounds of pork. For a smaller roast, use half of a batch.
If you don't have ground mustard, you may use 1 tablespoon of Dijon or yellow mustard in its place. This will make it a paste that should be rubbed into the pork right away. Alternatively, you can use one of these ground mustard substitutes.
After storing your dry rub, always shake the jar before using it to redistribute all of the ingredients.
To store: Keep pork roast seasoning in an airtight jar stored in a pantry, cabinet, or somewhere dark and cool. It will last for 2-3 years if stored properly. This is also dependent on the freshness of your herbs and spices.
