This beautiful and tasty blue margarita cocktail is a fun and vibrant twist on the traditional, classic margarita! Not only is this margarita stunning to look at, but it also is extremely delicious! The brilliant blue color comes from the blue curacao and is always a fan favorite!
1dashsweet and sour mix(optional- also called 'sours')
sea salt(optional- for the rim)

Instructions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add the tequila, blue curacao, and lime juice. Shake vigorously. Taste the margarita and add the optional sweet and sour mix if needed.
(optional) Rub some lime juice around the outside rim of a margarita glass and press it into sea salt to salt the rim if desired.
Fill the margarita glass with fresh ice. Shake the shaker once more, then strain the margarita into your prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wheel if desired and enjoy while cold.
Notes
An orange wedge would also make a fabulous garnish for this margarita because it compliments the citrus flavor of blue curacao!
To make a pitcher of this margarita you will need:
2 cups blue curacao
3 cups tequila
2 cups lime juice
sour mix to taste
Pour all of the ingredients into a pitcher or carafe and place it in the fridge to chill.
Just before serving, add a few cups of ice or reusable freezable ice cubes. Pour into margarita glasses as needed and garnish with a lime wheel if desired.
