Instructions
In an oversized mug or mixing bowl combine ingredients except for the flour, stir to combine.
Add the all-purpose flour and then mix well.
Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes (check for doneness after 1 minute). A toothpick entered into the center of the mug cake should come out clean, if not, microwave in short 20 second increments until done
Notes
Place a paper towel under your mug in the microwave to catch any spills or overflow.
This mug cake will expand while cooking. To prevent overflow, use a mug that is only half-full when the batter is combined and/or pause the heating cycle once you see the cake expand above the rim of your mug.
A mug that is not tapered (smaller at the bottom and larger at the top) will cook more evenly.
Cooking time may vary slightly depending on the make and model of your microwave.
A pinch of salt, an ⅛th teaspoon of sugar, or a ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract can be added to the batter to suit your tastes.
