Instructions
Measure out all of the ingredients into a small mixing bowl (or the bowl of a spice grinder) including paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, ground sage, and optional spices cayenne pepper or celery salt.
Mix well and use or store.
Notes
Yields just over 5 tablespoons of pork seasoning.
Season each 1 pound of pork with approximately 1 tablespoon portion of the DIY pork blend, to taste.
If you are unable to use any of the dry substitution options for the dry mustard powder, you can use 1 tablespoon of dijon or yellow mustard. The only difference is that the seasoning mix would now be more of a paste, so you will need to brush it on with a pastry brush instead of sprinkling it on.
