Instructions
If you don't already have a fire going at your campsite or in the firepit, get one started. Let the fire burn for a bit so that you have nice red embers burning rather than just fresh flames licking at your marshmallows.
Break your graham crackers in half lengthwise to make 2 squares for each s'more and set them onto a plate or sheet of aluminum foil (if working on a random surface near the fire). Break the Hershey's chocolate bar in half so that you have 2 pieces with 2 rectangles of chocolate each and place a square onto your bottom 2 graham cracker squares.
Roast your marshmallows using a sharpened, cleaned green stick (like I did as a kid!) or on one of the handy s'mores rods that you can buy now that work like a charm. Keep the marshmallow where it will toast rather than catch on fire and burn, rotating as you go to brown all sides.
Place the roasted marshmallow onto the bottom half of your graham cracker over the chocolate square and top with the second graham cracker square. Squeeze gently to pull the stick or rod out of your marshmallow and close the s'mores. Enjoy the s'mores sandwich style while still warm.
Notes
Your fully assembled smores can be folded into an aluminum foil pouch (double layers) and placed away from the fire in the corner of the fire pit or campfire to keep warm while you assemble more s'mores.
