Instructions
Chop the white chocolate into roughly similar size small chunks so that it melts best. Use a double boiler or the microwave to melt. Stovetop (double boiler): place a heat safe bowl over a saucepan with about 1 inch of water. Heat over medium and stir the white chocolate until melted.Microwave: place the white chocolate chunks into a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue heating in 15-20 second increments, stirring between each heating until the chocolate is melted.
Pour roughly ¾ of the melted white chocolate out onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Use your spatula to spread into a rectangle.
Add a drop or two of liquid food coloring (if desired) to the remaining ¼ portion of the melted white chocolate. Spread on top of the base layer.
Swirl the melted white chocolate to give it texture, you can also dip your toothpick in coloring to add lines of bright contrast.
Place the Lucky Charms marshmallows evenly over the top of the melted white chocolate.
(Optional) Add sprinkles and let the bark set to cool at room temperature for 45 minutes to an hour. Placing the bark into the refrigerator is useful during warm weather. Break or cut apart to serve.
