Instructions
Begin by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (205°C). Lightly grease the basket with oil.
Place your frozen sweet potato fries into the basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F (205°C) for 15-18 minutes and shake the basket every 5 or 6 minutes to prevent burning or sticking.
Remove from the air fryer, season with Kosher salt and a few turns of some fresh ground black pepper then serve right away with the dipping sauces of your choice.
Notes
*Nutrition information is an estimate and can vary from brand to brand.
Cooking times may vary based on the size and model of your air fryer. If you are unsure, start checking the sweet potato fries' doneness at 15 minutes. Cook until they are a level of crispy that you are happy with.
There is no need to spray your air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray because the aerosol will deteriorate the non-stick coating on the basket.
For crispy fries don't overcrowd the basket. You want room for the air to circulate around the fries so they get crispy on all sides. I usually cook the fries for 12 minutes, shaking them at 6 minutes. Then finish them in smaller batches for extra crispy sweet potato fries.
To store: Leftovers should be refrigerated in a shallow airtight container and eaten within 3 days. Do not re-freeze your sweet potato fries.
To reheat: Place cold leftover fries in your air fryer basket at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes. Flip once while heating and continue until the fries are warmed (and crisped) to your satisfaction.
