Instructions
Arrange the frozen orange chicken breaded pieces in an even layer in the basket of your air fryer or on your air fryer trays. *No oil is needed. Set the frozen packet of orange sauce into a bowl or cup of warm water to thaw while the chicken cooks.
Cook the chicken in your air fryer at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 8 minutes, then toss or flip and return to your air fryer. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until crispy and fully heated.
Warm the thawed orange sauce in a microwave-safe bowl or container for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute. Or heat in a small saucepan on the stovetop at medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the heated orange sauce over the air-fried chicken and toss to coat thoroughly. Serve immediately.
Notes
Air Fryer Tips: When you follow my air fryer recipes, be sure to check the directions for your air fryer’s make and model, as it may differ from the one I’ve got at home. Also, never spray aerosolized cooking spray directly on the device. Instead, use either a pump-spray bottle of oil or a pastry brush (or paper towel) to brush it on as directed. Keep in mind, this air fryer frozen orange chicken recipe doesn’t require any additional oil!
