Instructions
Add only 1 of the 2 tablespoon coconut oil (or your preferred cooking oil) to a large skillet or wok and place it over medium-high heat. Sear the 1 lb beef top sirloin until no longer pink, and then remove it from the pan and set it aside.
Carefully wipe the wok clean (if desired) and add the second tablespoon of oil and sear 1 large red pepper, 1 cup carrots, 1 cup celery, 2 cups broccoli florets, 4 oz mushrooms, and 8 oz snow peas until tender-crisp.
Add the cooked meat back into the wok with 1¼ cup stir-fry sauce and toss until well-coated. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes until fully heated.
Remove from the heat and serve immediately garnished with optional 5 green onions.
Notes
If you want your stir fry to be lighter on the sauce, start with ¾ cup of stir-fry sauce and add more as desired.
Slice your steak against the grain to make the meat extra tender. You'll also want the strips to be similar in size so that they cook at the same rate.
For a spicy variation, add 1-2 teaspoons of chili paste to the stir fry.
To store: Store your leftover stir fry in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
To reheat: Reheat leftovers either in the microwave or on the stovetop with a small bit of cooking oil.
