Instructions
In a large saucepan, combine the baked beans, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
Cook the sauce over medium heat until it starts to simmer, stirring occasionally.
Add the sliced hot dogs to the saucepan, making sure they are submerged in the sauce.
Reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan with a lid. Cook the franks and beans for about 10-15 minutes, or until the hot dogs are heated through and the sauce has thickened.
Scoop into bowls and serve immediately.
Notes
You can also serve the franks and beans on top of rice or pasta for a heartier meal.
For a fun twist, try making franks and beans nachos by topping tortilla chips with hot dogs, franks and beans, and shredded cheese. Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and top with your desired toppings.
You can use Lil' smokies as well if that's what you prefer!
To store: You can store leftover franks and beans in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To reheat: You can reheat small portions in the microwave or larger portions on the stovetop over medium heat.
