This fresh pineapple salsa is an incredibly easy and refreshing recipe with the perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavors! Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, add your diced pineapple, red bell pepper (or tomato), diced red onion (or white onion), cilantro, and jalapeno. Pour the lime juice evenly on top of the ingredients.
Stir the ingredients with a wooden spoon until they are well combined. Season with salt to taste and stir a final time.
Let the salsa rest for at least 10 minutes before serving. For the best results, serve fresh.
Notes
Feel free to use up to 4 cups of diced pineapple for this recipe. A standard-sized fresh pineapple that is cored and peeled will yield about 4 - 4 ½ cups of diced pineapple.
The juice from two large limes is ¼ cup of lime juice (2 tablespoons of juice per lime).
Make sure that all of your ingredients are finely diced so that it's easy to scoop up with a chip.
