(Traditional Scandinavian Cookies)

What You Will Need heavy cream sour cream sugar shortening egg yolk vanilla extract baking powder baking soda salt all-purpose flour

#1. Combine

Cream together butter, shortening and egg.

#2. Combined

Fully creamed together butter, sugar and shortening.

#3. Combine

(In a new bowl.) Heavy cream with the sour cream, mixed.

#4. Add & Mix

Add the vanilla, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix.

#5. Add & Mix

Add the sour cream mixture to the creamed butter. Mix.

#6. Add 

Add the Flour.

#7. Mix

Fully combine to make a dough.

#8. Roll Out

Roll out to make a "rope".

#9. Shape

Shape into a figure 8.

#10. Bake & Cool

Bake @ 475°F for about 6 minutes, then cool.
