4-Ingredient Potato Soup Recipe

Ingredients 6 tablespoon butter 1 small onion 3 lbs russet potatoes 2 cups milk salt & pepper (to taste) 1 cup cheddar cheese (optional ) 2 strips bacon (optional) 2 green onions (optional)

Saute the onion in a skillet.

Then add enough water to cover the potatoes.

Boil, drain, then add butter.

Mash until smooth or chunky (whichever you like).

Add the milk.

Simmer to reduce then add seasoning.
