Poultry seasoning is always fresher and better-tasting when it is homemade! This spice blend will only take you a couple of minutes to make and will last up to 3 years!

🥘 Poultry Seasoning Ingredients
You most likely already have most of these in your spice cabinet! I recommend buying some marjoram, but you can use a substitute if you don't have any.
- Sage - 2 teaspoons of ground sage.
- Thyme - 1½ teaspoons of dried thyme.
- Marjoram - 1 teaspoon of dried marjoram (*see note).
- Rosemary - ¾ teaspoon of dried rosemary.
- Nutmeg - ¾ teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
- Pepper - ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper.

🔪 How To Make Poultry Seasoning
This spice blend is as easy as it gets! Grab a mixing bowl and a spice jar, and you are ready to start!
This recipe will make about 2 tablespoons (or 6 teaspoons) of poultry seasoning.
- Mix ingredients. In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 teaspoons of sage, 1½ teaspoons of thyme, 1 teaspoon of dried marjoram, ¾ teaspoon of rosemary, ¾ teaspoon of nutmeg, and ½ teaspoon of pepper. (*see note). Stir gently to combine.
- Store. Place the spice blend into a spice jar or airtight container and store until ready to use.
This poultry seasoning would taste amazing in some delicious stuffing or stuffing casserole! You can also use it for a perfectly seasoned Thanksgiving oven-roasted turkey! Enjoy!

Yes! If you have a recipe that calls for chicken seasoning, it is the same thing as poultry seasoning.
