    A buttery graham cracker crust is topped with layers of white chocolate chips, golden raisins, chopped almonds, candied cherries, and shredded coconut. Sweetened condensed milk is the final touch that ties all of the tasty add-ins together!

    🥘 Fruitcake Magic Bars Ingredients

    This recipe calls for 8 simple and easy-to-find ingredients that you can pick up at your local grocery store! If you have some graham crackers at home, use 16 sheets to make your own graham cracker crumbs.

    • Graham Cracker Crumbs - 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs.
    • Butter - ½ cup of butter (melted).
    • White Chocolate Chips - 1 cup of white chocolate chips.
    • Golden Raisins - 1 cup of golden raisins.
    • Almonds - 1 cup of almonds (chopped).
    • Candied Red & Green Cherries - 1 cup of candied red and green cherries (glace cherries, quartered).
    • Shredded Coconut - 1 cup of shredded coconut.
    • Sweetened Condensed Milk - 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (1 14-ounce can).

    🔪 How To Make Fruitcake Magic Bars

    In just 4 simple steps, you will have a delectable Christmas dessert bar that everyone will love! To begin, take out a 9X13 baking dish, mixing bowls, a silicone spatula, and some measuring cups.

    My homemade fruitcake magic bar recipe will yield around 24 servings. This will depend on how small or large you cut the bars.

    1. Prep. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 baking pan.
    2. Mix. In a medium mixing bowl, mix the 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs and the ½ cup of melted butter together. Then press the mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking pan.
    3. Layer ingredients. Layer the 1 cup of white chocolate chips, 1 cup of golden raisins, 1 cup of chopped almonds, 1 cup of candied red and green cherries, and 1 cup of shredded coconut on top of the graham cracker crust. Pour the 1 can of sweetened condensed milk over the top evenly. *Use a spatula to spread the sweetened condensed milk if needed.
    4. Bake. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until the edges become golden. Completely cool before slicing into bars and serving.

    These irresistible chewy fruitcake bars are one of my favorite go-to easy Christmas desserts to make for my friends and family! They are sure to be a hit to whoever tries them. Enjoy!

    💭 Angela's Tips & Recipe Notes

    • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk is equal to 14 ounces.
    • 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs are equal to approximately 16 sheets of graham crackers.
    • To speed up the cooling process, you may place your fruitcake magic bars in the fridge for a few hours before slicing them. Make sure that they are completely cooled before cutting and serving.

    🥡 Storing

    Store any leftover fruitcake magic bars in an airtight container at room temperature for 4-5 days. Place in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

    If you want to enjoy these bars at a later time, you may individually wrap each bar after they are cooled down in plastic wrap. Place each wrapped bar in a freezer-safe storage bag and serve within 2 months. Simply thaw the bars in the fridge overnight or at room temperature before serving.

    Can You Make These Fruitcake Magic Bars Without Nuts?

    Absolutely! If you are allergic to nuts or simply are not a fan, you can omit the almonds in this recipe. If you just want to change the type of nut, some chopped walnuts are pecans would be tasty too!

    Can You Freeze Fruitcake Magic Bars?

    Yes! These fruitcake magic bars make the perfect make-ahead dessert! Bake up a batch and serve within 4-5 days if you keep the bars at room temperature in an air-tight container. You could also store them in the fridge for up to 7 days before serving.

    What Other Add-ins Could I Use In These Fruitcake Magic Bars?

    Even though this recipe is tried and true, you may add your favorite add-ins to switch it up! Swap out the white chocolate chips with butterscotch chips or peanut butter chips. You could also add some chopped mini pretzel sticks for an added salty crunch! Switch out the almonds for your favorite chopped nut.

    Ingredients
     

    • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
